Public beta

Checks and downloads are free. There are no charges to refund.

These experimental checks cannot guarantee acceptance. Review your photo against the official requirements; the issuing authority makes the final decision.

How the checker works

The browser estimates facial landmarks, uses them to position a crop, and checks image signals such as sharpness and lighting. The chin-to-crown estimate is approximate: hair, head coverings, pose, and image quality can affect it.

A passing result is a prompt for your own review. It is not government approval, identity verification, or a prediction that your application will succeed.

What is included

The beta supports US passport, US baby passport, and US visa photo presets. It produces a single-photo JPEG, a 4×6 sheet JPEG, and a 4×6 PDF. Printing costs are separate. For online passport renewal, keep the original file and follow the official portal’s instructions.

How we write these guides

FormFitPhoto publishes the guides and links the official sources used for requirements. Each guide shows its review date. Numerical examples are labelled as examples; diagrams illustrate proportions and are not approved sample photos.

We distinguish published requirements from practical photography and printing advice. The issuing authority’s current instructions take precedence. No acceptance rate or independent accuracy benchmark has been established for this beta.

What you should verify yourself

Review the original photo, compare it with the official examples, and measure any physical print. The tool cannot establish the date a photo was taken or verify every exception and document requirement.
